Congrats to Lewis Hamilton to be the youngest world champion in Formula 1. And Felipe Massa only could feel sad because he lost his opportunity to end the this year grand prix at his home town Sao Paolo, Brazil with win the race and the world title 2008. Yes, this year is owned by Hamilton, and next year, we don’t know what will be happened.

Q: When you start to blog? What year?

A: I started blogging in 2004

Q: What is your first blog? I mean free hosting or self hosting?

A: I started with some small term websites using free website providers like sitekreator.com and then used blogspot.com for free blogs

Q: What is your purpose in blogging at first time?

A: In 2004, when I was in USA, in my profession - I was working with Internet advertising products and used to deal with clients who are into internet marketing and advertising. One of the friends over there showed me his personal website with Google ads and told me how Google adsense works. I thought to give it a try and see how Google adsense works. This helped me in two ways, 1). I wanted to check how Google adsense can benefit me by paying for adsense ads 2). That knowledge would help me in my professional project to know the domain better.

Q: How long you blogging using free provider and when you change to the self hosting?

A: Surprisingly, I used free blogs until early 2007. It’s not that I did not want to move to paid hosting, but when everything was going well with free hosting, I did not give serious thought to spend money on paid hosting

Q: I see, so your first domain in self hosting is lifeiscolourful.com?

A: Nope, it’s not my first domain. I had bought many domain names in the journey of my blogging and redirected them to existing blogspot blogs. So my free hosted blogspot blogs were actually on some domain name - since Google started option of adding domain name to existing blogs

Q: What is your specialization, I mean what the most preferred topic do you write in your blog?

A: One is "SEO, blogging, making money, technical, and reviews" as I do on lifeiscolourful - Second is Finance.

Q: What is your reason to choose those topics?

A: I chose Finance in the beginning - because that’s the area where I not only had knowledge but I had ready audience as well. When I saw my success over 2-3 years in this by optimizing my blogs, brigning traffic with various techniques, popularizing websites and made lot of money - then I thought the second topic of "SEO, blogging, traffic, make money" came in my mind to write about.

Q: Oh, that’s great. In lifeiscolourful.com I saw your money meter and the detail earning information every month, I wonder is all of the earning comes only from one blog, which means only from lifeiscolourful.com or it is accumulated from all of your blogs?

A: it’s accumulated from many blogs and some websites

Q: Oh, I see, can I know how much in average you get only from lifeiscolourful.com?

A: Well, I really never figured that out. But I am sure I don’t get much in CPC ads. Most of the revenue from lifeiscolourful.com is from textlinks, banners and reviews. Overall, it’s good chunk of revenue though. Simply because the reviews are like unlimited inventory compared to limited inventory of textlinks and banners

Q: What is the background of choosing the name lifeiscolourful.com as your personal site? What inspired you?

A: The inspiration was the colourful changes I have seen in my life after making good money online. That helped me to live better life. And when you already have love and affection in life and extra money other than your regular income proves to be a bonus, life becomes very colourful

Q: So you are not full time blogger? Do you live in India right now? Not in US anymore? Can you describe about your money meter?

A: I am not full time blogger. I work full time in Software profession. I live in India currently but soon moving to UK or US for better job opportunities. The money meter is my earnings from 1st Jan this year (2008). That’s added there to motive myself and my readers. It really works.

Q: What do you think about blogging in local language beside English? Is it any prospect?

A: Well it certainly has. But bloggers wil have to deal with limited audience in the beginning. the local language blogs become popular more on mouth-to-mouth publicity

Q: do you have at least one blog with local language?

A: Nope

Q: What is the next target for you about earning from blogging in the next year?

A: In terms of making money, I would like to reach to $3000 per month if possible. In terms of growth, I have plans to develop few (10+) sites and forums that can run without much administration

Q: How many blogs and non blog sites which you run now?

A: Wow, let me count… I think I have anything between 10-20 blogs but 4-5 are the major ones. Non-blog sites are very few like less than 5. Out of these 10-20 blogs, not all are updated regularly, but I update them whenever I get chance. All of them get search engine traffic and add to my revenue in bits and pieces. But major revenue is from 3-4 blogs

A: yes

Q: Are the other blogs including in top four are in the same niche, finance or SEO probably?

A: Others are Finance, Entertainment, Technical, and Medical.

Q: Oh, I see. What is the best prospect in your opinion about earn money in the future, is it paid review, private ads, or CPC like adsense?

A: I would say that’s current. But in future, I see good fortune in Domaining industry with lesser and lesser domains available as per our choice

Q: So, you are planning to involve in domain parking or domain selling industry? Have you started yet?

A: Yes, I already started with it. Recently, I invested in over 20+ domains spending few hundred dollars on it.

Q: Do you buy new domain or buy from the existed owner?

A: New domains if they are available, but if not - existing owners

Q: What is the best reference to find valuable domain? Do you make research based on keyword trend before buy the domain or only based on your personal feeling that the domain will be worth more in the future?

A: I give importance to domain name that includes some keywords that would help in SEO later. Also, domain names those are short. (I would soon be writing a post about how to find valuable short domain names). I have full lifetime license from www.keywordcountry.com won from contest at www.dailyblogtips.com for first blogging idol - I use this tool for keyword research in specific niche.

Q: Do you have good tips about avoiding pagerank penalty? Because google hates text link and paid review but you disclose that your blog is accepting review?

A: I think I am taking chances and risk. To remove the pagerank penalty, appear as clean as possible in front of Google. But they would still find you out from nowhere. I have lost pagerank of many of blogs in past due to this, and I learnt from it too how to tackle with it. Meanwhile, I wrote a post about how to get the pagerank back.

Q: I have read your article about get one way backlinks is more important than two way, do you have good tips about how to get one way backlink? Beside advertise in other sites, I mean the free tips

A: Yes, write good content and become a blog worth writing about.

Q: The last question from me. What is your advice to the newbie blogger to get success? Also please tell me your life motto?

A: Suggestion to new bloggers: “be passionate about what you do, dedication is very important.” My wife knows about it, and she always supported me in my online ventures. Right now also she is helping me eat dinner while I talk with you with both of hands busy in typing. My motto is: “I want to be successful in everything I do.”

If you live in the GMT+7 time zone like me, then you can see the debate announced in the Thursday, 16 October 2008, at 6 a.m. in the morning, on the my favorite television channel without gossip, the MetroTV. It is the last debate from the president candidate’s debate series. It will be the nice breakfast of news in the morning for me.

Will the young Barrack Obama still win the heart of the majority number of voters like the last debate few weeks ago, or may be the old John McCain will smash back against the Obama? We will see the result on Wednesday or Thursday, so, don’t forget to stay tune and see what you would see. Obama with the Change motto or the McCain with Safety motto and the military character will win the heart of voters at the last debate.

I’m curious because many of my sites was dropped yesterday, but I didn’t find any information about Google updated pagerank again. The question is Did Google make the update faster than usual. From once in three months then to the once in a month and now once in half month?

I don’t know and I hope somebody tell me the truth of this pagerank update. I have searched the blog of Matt Cutts, the Google Head Staff of SPAM division but I didn’t find anything related to this information of pagerank update. One of my friends told me that the pagerank update wasn’t stable, many other bloggers claimed the same problem like my problem. Then, I should wait for the stable status of pagerank. Hope it will happened soon and my blog’s pagerank won’t drop again. What about you?

What should I do with this update PR? I can’t do anything and just moved and hope that Google will not update the pagerank every month because it gives me heart shocked condition every month. I think the back link issue is still the main issue in this case and many people like to know how to get good backlink. Paid link activities still been punished by the gigantic network company such as Google.

Maintain your pagerank is difficult if you are using the way that the rank’s owner doesn’t like. So, if you want to stay in increased heart beat condition, you still can do what violate the Google’s rule.

It is bad precedence for biggest company which relies on internet network. If the date of news is not accurate, then the readers will be confused by the actual occasion related to the news.
